Cut portraits
(2004 - 2022)Do you see just lines, spots or text in these portraits? From a distance a face or situation can be seen, from a greater distance more is visible to discover. All lines are cut, so it's not a graphic design, it's a papercut. You can also commission me to cut your portrait.

Nothing is what it seems
(2003 - 2015)From labels with false information to things behind glass which you may not expect at first glance. Look about the contrast between these and my delicate papercuttings! Born from 'obscure objects', because why should art be pretty? Why should an audiance feel comfortable?
Origami Architecture
(2003 - 2012)These cards are a hybride between pop-up cards and origami. The technique was developed by the late architect Masahiro Chatani, he published multiple books on the subject (I have most of them). I use this technique as an extension on the ancient art of papercutting.
